I have long been fascinated by found texture and patterns of place. I try to bring this to all my artwork, but these projects represent an exploration of textures, colors, and patterns inspired by and intertwined with the subject or place of creation.
Nepal Prints
A mixed media exploration with traditional block prints and paint, and digital techniques, with themes inspired by the artist’s life in Nepal 2018-2020.
Reptilia
An ode to the artist’s roots in naturalistic painterly realism, this project was a recreation of reptile and amphibian subjects fit into texture environments.
