A mixed media endeavor, these prints began traditionally with paint and paper, with the setting of painted Nepali block prints into gelli plates to create unique textures on rice paper. The natural scenes were added digitally using a collage of scanned prints to their final form, with imagry inspired by the artist’s encounters and adventures with the natural world while living in Kathmandu, Nepal from 2018-2020.
